Gulhane Faculty of Medicine is a well-established foundation which provides medical education with the same perfectionism and strength it has gained from its history of over 120 years. In addition to our institutional knowledge, qualifications and experience, the University of Health Sciences has provided acceleration to our faculty since the incorporation of Gulhane Faculty of Medicine in 2016. Hence, Gulhane Faculty of Medicine will always be among top of the medical community with the most qualified and accomplished physicians educated in both basic medical sciences and clinical branches. 

The medical discipline-based topics included in the education program of Gulhane Faculty of Medicine have been planned in harmony with the theoretical and practical course contents. In this context, starting from the third year, a curriculum has been created to enable students to develop professional and clinical skills. While predominantly theoretical lessons are taught during first and second years, starting from the third year, a curriculum in accordance with the teaching principle of "learning by doing and living" has been adopted.  

Our goal is to provide a student-oriented medical education that is suitable for research and analytical abilities and training our students to become physicians committed to ethical principles and ready to serve the humanity.
