
Gulhane Vocational School of Health, its educational activities has been continuing for over a century, was formerly established in 1914 with the name of Kucuk Sihhiye Zabiti School. After July 2016, It was cooperated with University of Health Sciences as Gulhane Vocational School of Health with 184 students at 5 programs.
Our vocational school’s aim, which adopts the principle of training a qualified health workforce, is to train expert health technicians in the field, whose needs are felt more and more every day in the rapidly changing and developing health sector due to global technological developments.
In addition to the theoretical training, students take laboratory practice from our competent in our laboratories and, benefit all the facilities of Training and Research Hospitals in Ankara, which are in jointly use within the scope of the protocol signed with the Ministry of Health.
The students have been studying at 13 different programs, 1598 of them are from Turkey, and they are non-military; 161 are on behalf of the Ministry of National Defense, 41 are on behalf of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. As a result of the internationalization of education, 32 students are from different countries along with Turkish citizens, as the Guest Military Student and Foreign Student. Our vocational school are planning to increase in the number of students and programs for every year, and our international students and graduates begin to take duties and responsibilities in respectable points of their own countries and our country.
