Occupational Therapy Undergraduate Program; Higher Education Qualifications Framework to Turkey (TYYÇ) by education level is level 6 is located in the Basic Health Area. In addition, it is at the 1st level according to the "European Higher Education Area Qualifications Framework (QF-EHEA) and 6th level according to the" European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning "(EQF-LLL).

Objectives of the Program

The aim of the occupational therapy undergraduate program is that it can synthesize the theoretical and applied knowledge, plan and implement client-centered occupational therapy evaluation and interventions, increase the independence and quality of life of individuals through meaningful and purposeful activities, and ensure lifelong learning, clinical reasoning, critical thinking and interdisciplinary work. To train occupational therapist who can perform evidence-based practices with their skills, and who have professional ethics and competence.

Education period is 8 semesters.

In order to obtain a bachelor's degree in ergotherapy, students must successfully complete all the required and elective courses (a total of 240 ECTS) in the program and their overall weighted grade point average must be at least 2.0 out of 4.00.
