Program Qualification Level

The nursing program is the 6th level of National Qualifications Framework for Higher Education in Turkey (NQF-HETR). Also, it is the first level of Overarching Framework for Qualifications of the European Higher Education Area (QF-EHEA), and 6th level of European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning (EQF-LLL).

Undergraduate students were started to accept to the program in the 2018-2019 academic year.

Objectives of the Program

Graduates of University of Health Sciences Hamidiye Faculty of Nursing undergraduate education program;

AP.1. Fulfill the roles and responsibilities of nursing at the national and international level in protecting, developing, maintaining and improving the health of the individual, family and society in health care services.

AP.2. Working in cooperation with members of the health care team in accordance with professional roles, responsibilities and ethical principles, using effective communication skills in the provision of healthcare services.

AP.3. Participate in activities that will continue their personal and professional development by adopting lifelong learning.

Length and Process of the Program

The duration of education is 8 semesters.

During the undergraduate program, at least 240 ECTS credits is required, provided that 30 ECTS in one academic year. Successful completion of all courses and have at least 2.00 out of 4.00 grade point average is a qualification requirement for graduation.
