Announcement for 2025 Çobanbey Faculty of Medicine and Çobanbey Health Services Vocational School Student Selection and Placement Exam...
Health Sciences University (SBÜ) Çobanbey Faculty of Medicine and Çobanbey Health Services Vocational School will accept students in the 2025–2026 Academic Year through written and oral interview exams and the applications for the Student Selection and Placement Exam will be made online between July 20 and August 09, 2025 at https://basvuru.sbu.edu.tr/ .
For candidates who do not have a high school diploma, applications for interviews at Çobanbey Faculty of Medicine and Çobanbey Vocational School of Health Services will also be accepted from those who have a Baccalaureate (IB) Result Certificate (scientific-numerical or literary-verbal) obtained at the end of the high school graduation exams.
Candidates applying to the Health Sciences University Student Selection and Placement Exam but not taking the written exam will not be admitted to the interview exam.
SBÜ Çobanbey Faculty of Medicine and Çobanbey Health Services Vocational School Student Selection and Placement Written Exam will be held at the exam centers determined in Çobanbey, Syria on August 25, 2025 at 11:00 (Syrian time).
In the 2025–2026 Academic Year, only Syrian nationals living in Syria and foreign nationals other than Syrian nationals residing in Syria can apply for the Health Sciences University (SBÜ) Çobanbey Faculty of Medicine and Çobanbey Health Services Vocational School foreign student selection and placement exam Applications of dual nationality candidates whose first nationality was Syrian and who became Turkish Citizens through application will not be accepted. Registration procedures of candidates who are found to have made irregular applications despite not meeting the application requirements will be cancelled even if they are eligible for placement.
Candidates who will apply to the Foreign Student Selection and Placement Exam to be held for Çobanbey Faculty of Medicine and Çobanbey Health Services Vocational School in the 2025-2026 Academic Year will not be able to apply to the TR-YÖS2025 Foreign Student Selection and Placement Exam to be held in Turkey by the ÖSYM Presidency. Applications of candidates who are found to have applied to both exams at the same time will be considered invalid. Even if they gain the right to final registration, their registrations will be canceled.
Students registered to any university in Turkey will not be able to apply to Çobanbey Faculty of Medicine or Çobanbey Vocational School of Health Services. In addition, students registered to any of the Medical Faculties or Vocational Schools in Syria or Çobanbey will be registered to Çobanbey Faculty of Medicine or Çobanbey Vocational School of Health Services after gaining the right to register to Çobanbey Faculty of Medicine or Çobanbey Vocational School of Health Services, but only if they have cancelled their registration from the academic unit they were previously registered to. In addition, students who are found to be registered to two different universities will have their registrations cancelled from Çobanbey Faculty of Medicine or Çobanbey Vocational School of Health Services, regardless of their academic year.
Candidates who took the 2025 Baccalaureate Exam but whose exam result document has not been announced yet, should upload a document stating “I undertake to deliver the original copy of my 2025 Baccalaureate Exam Result Document to the Exam Commission President during the Interview Exam process”, bearing their Name/Surname and signature, to the application system instead of the 2025 Baccalaureate Exam Result Document when applying for the online exam.
