University of Health Sciences - 2025 Student Selection - Placement Exam Announcement for Somalia Mogadishu RTE FHS

Students will be admitted to the University of Health Sciences, Somalia Mogadishu Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Faculty of Health Sciences and the Somalia Mogadishu Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Vocational School of Health Services for the 2025–2026 Academic Year through a written and oral examination. Applications for the Student Selection and Placement Exam will be made in person at the student affairs office of the Somalia Mogadishu Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Faculty of Health Sciences between August 2 and September 12, 2025.

The Written Exam for Student Selection and Placement of the University of Health Sciences (SBU) will be held face-to-face on September 13, 2025, at 09:00 at the main building of the Somalia Mogadishu Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Faculty of Health Sciences in Mogadishu.

The oral interview exams will be conducted by the exam commission of the Somalia Mogadishu Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Faculty of Health Sciences. These interviews will be held face-to-face between September 14–15, 2025, from 09:00 to 17:00 at the main building of SBU Somalia Mogadishu Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Faculty of Health Sciences.

The written and interview exam results of candidates who take the Student Selection and Placement Exam for the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Health Sciences in Mogadishu, Somalia, and the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Vocational School of Health Services in Mogadishu, Somalia, are only valid for the 2025–2026 academic year and cannot be carried over to subsequent years.

Candidates who will take the exam must have their identification documents or passports with them on the exam days.

The results of the Student Selection and Placement Examination conducted by the University of Health Sciences are only used for students who wish to study at the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Faculty of Health Sciences in Mogadishu, Somalia, and the SBU Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Vocational School of Health Services in Mogadishu, Somalia.

Applicants may select a total of four (4) programs: two (2) programs from the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Faculty of Health Sciences in Mogadishu, Somalia, and two (2) programs from the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Vocational School of Health Services in Mogadishu, Somalia.

Candidates' success scores will be calculated based on the total score obtained from 60% of the Student Selection and Placement Written Exam conducted by the University of Health Sciences, 20% of the high school diploma or State High School Graduation Exam score, and 20% of the interview exam score. Students will be able to pre-register for the programs of the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Faculty of Health Sciences and the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Vocational School of Health Services in Mogadishu, Somalia.

For those admitted to the Faculty of Health Sciences programs, after completing a two-year common program, their final placement into specific programs of the related academic department will be determined by:

- 60% of academic performance in courses,
- 40% of the Turkish language proficiency score.

For those admitted to the Vocational School of Health Services programs, after completing a one-year common program, their final placement into specific programs of the related academic department will be determined by:

- 60% of academic performance in courses,
- 40% of the Turkish language proficiency score.
