The Assistant Professor Ayşe Nur Oktay working at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Gulhane Faculty of Pharmacy in University of Health Sciences and her thesis advisor Professor Fatma Nevin Çelebi, it deemed worthy of the ‘Outstanding Achievement Award’ from The Council of Higher Education (YÖK).

"Outstanding Achievement Awards", which were implemented for the first time in the 2017-2018 academic year by the Council of Higher Education in order to encourage the study, project, thesis, and the community service activities carried out with scientific research in universities, found their owners. The awards were given in two categories, individual and corporate, by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the Opening Ceremony of the Higher Education Academic Year 2020-2021 held at the Presidential Complex Beştepe Congress and Culture Center.

Within the scope of "Individual Awards", the academicians who are entitled to receive "Doctoral Thesis of the Year" awards were awarded together with their "advisors" in order to draw attention to the "advisor-student relationship" and to show this issue's importance.

In Health Sciences Category; the Assistant Professor Ayşe Nur Oktay working at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Gulhane Faculty of Pharmacy in University of Health Sciences, and her thesis advisor Professor Fatma Nevin Çelebi were awarded with the doctoral thesis about ‘’Development and In Vitro-In Vivo Evaluation of Flurbiprofen Nanosuspensions for Dermal Administration’’. The award-winning doctoral students and advisors were given their awards by President Erdoğan.

Prof. Dr. Cevdet Erdöl, President of the University of Health Sciences, said in his assessment on the subject;

I congratulate our faculty member Ayşe Nur Oktay, who was deemed worthy of the ‘’YÖK Outstanding Achievement Award’’, her thesis advisor, Professor Fatma Nevin Çelebi, and all the scientists who were deemed worthy of the award for their success. As the University of Health Sciences, I am happy to reap the fruits of our efforts to create a qualified academic staff, to create suitable research conditions and to have the potential of qualified students.
