Hamidiye Faculty of Health Sciences offers undergraduate education and training activities within 11 programs and also helps postgraduate education at Hamidiye Institute of Health Sciences. It aims to train health professionals and scientists who can compete with their counterparts in the world in research and education in the field of health sciences, who are leaders in health and have an global perspective.

About Program
Program Qualification Level
Our program provides opportunities for diversified academic and clinical experiences outside the classroom. In the creation of the academic curriculum, not only the audiology programs that pioneered in the field of audiology in our country were examined, but also the suggestions of organizations such as the American Speech-Hearing Association (ASHA) and the Academy of Rehabilitative Audiology (ARA) were examined.
Audiology Program, according to the Higher Education Qualifications Framework for Turkey, is located in the Basic Zone Health, education level 6 is minimal.
Objectives of the Program
Our audiology program is a comprehensive program that aims to train audiologists who can provide diagnosis and rehabilitation services for patients of all ages in all areas of hearing and balance, and who can apply ethical rules without compromising the competence of independent work and social responsibility.
The audiology undergraduate program aims to adopt the principle of acquiring and raising knowledge of the public, having national and international leadership qualities in evidence-based clinical education, using knowledge, contributing to science, scientific entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to work independently in cooperation with an interdisciplinary approach.

Length and Process of the Program
The education period is 8 semesters.
During the undergraduate program, a minimum of 240 ECTS credits are required, provided that 30 ECTS credits are required in one academic semester. Successful completion of all courses and a grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 are the qualification requirements for graduation.

Job and Academic Career Opportunities for Graduates
Our students who will graduate with the title of "Audiologist";
- Audiology clinics of state or private hospitals,
- In the academic staff of universities,
- In neonatal units,
- Industrial institutions,
- Hearing aid and cochlear implant companies,
- They can work in special education and rehabilitation centers that provide auditory rehabilitation services for individuals with hearing loss.
In addition, if they prefer, they can establish their own audiology centers and operate in the sales and application of hearing aids and / or other areas within the scope of audiology.
