Our Duties
- Monitoring, evaluation, and coordination of Occupational Health and Safety management and practices within the frameworks established by Law No. 6331 on Occupational Health and Safety and the related regulations.
- Determining the content of ongoing Occupational Health and Safety activities across the University of Health Sciences, and selecting appropriate methods for monitoring and evaluating the processes.
- Conducting field observations and risk analyses, monitoring the process, making recommendations regarding the necessary measures and improvements, and following up on preventive, corrective, and improvement activities.
- Establishing databases for Occupational Health and Safety studies.
- Providing mandatory Occupational Health and Safety training to University of Health Sciences students prior to their internships and professional practice.
- Providing mandatory Occupational Health and Safety training to the academic and administrative personnel of the University of Health Sciences.
- Investigating occupational accidents and occupational diseases, performing root cause analysis, and planning appropriate measures.
- Ensuring coordination of Occupational Health and Safety activities among units.
- Auditing the Occupational Health and Safety services of subcontractors operating within the University of Health Sciences.
- Preparing emergency action plans and organizing emergency drills.
- Establishing civil defense, first aid, and emergency teams, and conducting related training activities.
- Supporting educational activities carried out at associate degree, undergraduate, and graduate levels in the field of Occupational Health and Safety within the scope of the area of activity, and providing practice and research opportunities for educational programs.
- Organizing conferences, seminars, and courses in cooperation with domestic and international organizations conducting studies on Occupational Health and Safety.
- Organizing training programs for the academic and administrative personnel of the University of Health Sciences aimed at preventing occupational accidents and occupational diseases.
