Our Duties

To carry out activities related to the planning of the academic and administrative structuring, and the organization and conduct of educational activities of the Overseas Academic Units of the University of Health Sciences, as well as the conduct of all types of international tasks and procedures of academic units both domestically and abroad.

To carry out activities related to the academic and administrative structuring of the Overseas Academic Units of the University of Health Sciences, the planning of the organization and conduct of educational activities, matters pertaining to the conduct of all types of international tasks and procedures of academic units both domestically and abroad, the conduct of international student and staff exchange programs, and the administrative and financial matters as well as all types of physical structuring of overseas academic units.

We conduct our activities within the Mekteb-i Tıbbiyye-i Şâhâne Campus. 

Operations of the Coordinatorship

  1. Planning of the administrative and academic personnel to be assigned to our overseas units.
  2. Completion of the correspondence for the administrative and academic personnel to be assigned to our overseas units.
  3. Providing the necessary information to the personnel assigned to our overseas units.
  4. Arranging the transportation and accommodation procedures for the personnel assigned to our overseas units.
  5. Processing the travel allowances, per diem, or salary procedures of the administrative and academic personnel to be assigned locally and from the central office to our overseas units.
  6. Control and inspection of the fixed assets or consumable materials procured for our overseas units.
  7. Planning of education and teaching related matters (Academic Calendar, Curriculum, and Course Schedules) at our overseas units.
  8. Planning of the YÖS (Foreign Student Selection) Written Examination and Interview Examination during the academic years at our overseas units.
  9. Requesting detailed reports from the administrative and academic personnel assigned to our overseas units regarding the units to which they have been assigned.
  10. Organizing protocols related to the regions where our overseas units are located. 

Areas of Activity of the Coordinatorship

  1. To take the lead in the enactment of legal regulations related to the academic and administrative structuring of the University's overseas academic units.
  2. To prepare cooperation protocols to be concluded with the countries where the University's overseas academic units are located.
  3. To coordinate and approve the work related to the establishment and development of the physical infrastructure of academic units that have been established or are to be established abroad.
  4. To plan the organization and conduct of educational activities of the overseas academic units.
  5. To coordinate the cooperation between the University's overseas academic units and the relevant domestic academic units.
  6. To plan the travel arrangements of the academic and administrative personnel to be assigned to overseas units, including their transfers abroad, to carry out and monitor the tasks and procedures related to subsistence and accommodation, to ensure the flow of information between units, and to provide coordination for the conduct of these procedures and the procurement of services when necessary.
  7. To coordinate the processes aimed at addressing the demands and needs of the University's overseas academic units with the relevant units.
  8. To provide information and material support for tasks and procedures related to the educational activities of the overseas academic units.
  9. To monitor the income-expenditure accounts and expenditures of the overseas academic units.
  10. To carry out the necessary procedures for the exchange of academic personnel, students, and administrative staff with units affiliated with universities abroad, research centers, and similar institutions, including European Union programs.
  11. To support the process of opening joint education programs with universities abroad, units affiliated with universities, research centers, and similar institutions, the implementation of KA131 and KA171 projects, the realization of joint projects, and the organization of scientific events.
  12. To support the effective participation of University students and faculty members in programs determined by the Council of Higher Education such as the Mevlana Exchange Program, EU Programs of the National Agency, and other international exchange and scholarship programs, and to carry out the tasks and procedures related to these processes.
  13. To support the making of necessary arrangements for international students/faculty members coming to the University for a certain period to be able to take/deliver the relevant courses.
  14. To decide on the appropriateness of the tasks and procedures required to be carried out by the University for the post-graduation education that students who have graduated or will graduate from the University wish to pursue abroad, and to coordinate the tasks and procedures to be carried out.
  15. To take measures for meeting the needs of faculty members, students, and administrative staff who will come to the University from abroad within the framework of exchange programs or projects, to carry out adaptation programs, language courses, and similar planning and implementation work, and to develop strategies for resolving problems.
  16. To ensure the representation of our University at international higher education fairs.
  17. To program and implement the necessary activities for the University and its activities to become better known abroad; to ensure the preparation, procurement, and distribution of all types of promotional materials.
  18. To coordinate the flow of data related to the University to international ranking organizations and to analyze the results published by ranking organizations and inform the University's Senior Management.
