Our Duties
- The Selection and Placement of Students to be Sent Abroad for Postgraduate Education (YLSY) is a scholarship program for postgraduate education abroad, conducted by the Ministry of National Education in return for compulsory service, with the purpose of meeting the qualified human resources needs of universities and public institutions and organizations.
- The University of Health Sciences YLSY Scholarship Program Coordinatorship is responsible for carrying out the tasks and procedures within the scope of the "Regulation on the Education of Turkish Students in Foreign Countries" published in the Official Gazette dated 01 March 2020 and numbered 31055, and for ensuring coordination between the Ministry of National Education and the University of Health Sciences.

Our Activities
- The YLSY Scholarship Program Coordinatorship is responsible for the academic and administrative activities pertaining to the conduct of tasks and procedures related to students who have earned the right to be sent abroad on behalf of the institution, in line with the objectives of the Ministry and the institution across the entire institution.
- The domestic academic advisor is responsible for informing students about the institution, unit, and/or department; providing professional guidance to students; evaluating the academic progress reports of students; guiding students in line with the needs of the institution during the process of obtaining admission from universities abroad; providing opinions during the process of students commencing their education abroad; providing opinions on the study plans indicating the stages of education abroad and the courses to be taken by students; and providing guidance in the preparation of students' letters of intent, research and thesis proposals, as well as in the determination of thesis and study topics in line with the needs of the institution.
Our Objectives and Goals
- The YLSY Scholarship Program Coordinatorship endeavors to increase the effectiveness of the scholarship program by conducting promotional and informational activities, organizes orientation activities for students studying on behalf of the institution, ensures coordination with domestic academic advisors, and takes the necessary measures for strengthening the institutional belonging of students.
