About The Faculty

Each year, we welcome our new students with the slogan of "reviving the past, building the future" at the first pharmacist class opened within the “Mekteb-i Tıbbiyye-i Adliye-i Şahane”. The main purpose of our programs is to educate pharmacists who perform their professions with a high sense of duty and sensitivity at every stage from drug production to its delivery to the patient. In order to achieve this goal, our five-year education programs are created in European Union standards. The programs start with courses in basic science and continues with courses that intend to provide students with professional skills in pharmacy. Theoretical courses are supported by laboratory practices in order to gain the necessary skills for professional practice. With the field electives, students are directed to different professional fields in the career path of their choice. With internship practices, students are offered the opportunity to practice in the pharmaceutical industry and various research and development centers, as well as in the community and hospital pharmacy. Students who successfully complete the program graduate with a "master's degree" and are awarded the title of "pharmacist". Our graduates work as "pharmacists" in community and hospital pharmacies, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry, drug and poison information centers, stem cell treatment centers, radiopharmacy laboratories, approved institutions for medical devices and contracted research organizations.
