Coordinatorships
Our Duties
The primary objective of our Coordinatorship is to support scientific research by utilizing the resources allocated by our University in an accurate, effective, and efficient manner in line with the determined strategic goals and principles. The evaluation, acceptance, funding, monitoring, and assessment of the results of the project proposals submitted to the Scientific Research Projects (BAP) Coordination Unit by the faculty members of the University of Health Sciences, as well as the execution of all services related to these processes, fall within the scope of duties of our Coordinatorship. Our Coordinatorship carries out its activities within the Mekteb-i Tıbbiye-i Şâhâne Campus.
Our Activities
As the Scientific Research Projects (BAP) Coordinatorship of the University of Health Sciences, we operate in the following areas with the aim of supporting scientific research and strengthening the research culture:
Support for Scientific Research Projects: Evaluation, funding, monitoring of the execution, and finalization of the projects proposed by faculty members and researchers.
Provision of Support for Different Project Types: Execution of specific support mechanisms for various project types, such as graduate thesis projects, rapid support projects, multi-center projects, and overseas research support.
Consultancy and Information: Providing guidance to researchers on the preparation of project proposals, budget planning, ethics committee applications, and process management.
Training and Information Meetings: Organization of information seminars, project writing workshops, and training meetings to raise awareness regarding BAP processes.
Project Monitoring and Reporting: Review of interim and final reports of funded projects and conducting performance evaluations.
Updating of Directives and Procedural Principles: Updating the BAP directives in effect and improving practices in accordance with the higher education legislation and the strategic goals of our University.
