University of Health Sciences Students Attended the Cemre Foundation Launch Program

University of Health Sciences students attended the Cemre Foundation Launch Program, held in the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The launch program of the foundation, which aims at the active involvement of young people in social responsibility and social solidarity activities, was held at the Atatürk Cultural Center on February 20, 2025.

Comprehensive information was shared at the program, which was held with intensive participation, regarding the founding purpose, fields of activity, and upcoming projects of the Cemre Foundation.

The launch of the foundation, which aims to promote social solidarity, a culture of volunteerism, and the more active participation of young people in social projects, was followed with great interest by the attendees. The program commenced with the opening speech of the Honorary Chairperson of the Foundation, Çiğdem Karaaslan.

In her speech, Karaaslan stated that the Cemre Foundation aims to develop projects prioritizing social benefit and drew particular attention to the importance of young people becoming more visible and active in volunteering activities.

Following the opening speech, Board of Trustees Chairperson Hasan Mandal provided information about the activities the foundation plans to carry out in the fields of science, education, and social responsibility. Mandal expressed that bringing together young people from different disciplines to produce productive projects is of great importance for the future of society.

Board of Directors Chairperson Furkan Gökgöz, who also addressed the program, stated that the Cemre Foundation aims to develop projects that will reveal the potential of young people and provided the attendees with information about the activities the foundation will carry out in the upcoming period.

Following the speeches, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed the attendees. In his speech, President Erdoğan emphasized the importance of young people taking an active role in social responsibility projects and stated that efforts strengthening social solidarity will continue to be supported. He also noted that the projects to be carried out by the foundation will make significant contributions to the development of young people and to social benefit.

The program concluded following President Erdoğan's good wishes and regards. University of Health Sciences students who attended the launch program expressed their satisfaction with the program, drawing attention to the importance of such organizations that aim at a more effective role of young people in social projects.
